STAFF
USAV / KRVA:
​To be a club coach in USA Volleyball, you are required to have a current USAV
membership, pass a background check, complete the IMPACT certification, and
complete SafeSport training. These requirements are often part of a larger process that
may include state-specific clearances, especially in states like Pennsylvania.

Membership:
You must have a current USA Volleyball membership. USAV/KRVA MEMBERSHIP

Background Check:
A background screening through SportsEngine is required. This is a
"two-year screening" and is part of the membership registration process.​
Pennsylvania:clearances in addition to USAV requirements, such as:
o PA 153 Clearance
o Criminal History Record (PATCH)
o Child Abuse Clearance of Fingerprint screening

IMPACT Certification:
You must complete the IMPACT course, which is the minimum level of coach education required by USA Volleyball. IMPACT

SafeSport Training:
You must complete the SafeSport training course, which needs to be renewed annually. This is a federal requirement for

AAU: AAU Membership is required to participate in all AAU licensed events.
Membership:If you hold a Non-Athlete Membership expiring soon, please sign up with a new account. AAU ​
BACKGROUND CHECK: Respond to the email sent from support@uventex.com to start the background screening process.
PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance):Coaches: All registered coaches are encouraged to take free course as part of gaining membership into the AAU. PCA
